Aria
for trombone solo
(1994)

- an opportunity for a performer to show his potentialities, and for a listener to thank him for this;

- a chance to reveal interesting features of the sound source - the generator of acoustical and esthetical oscillation, this time not a voice (like in Italian arias) and not a flute (like in Bach's Suite), but "not worse than them" trombone - one more variation of that Utopia of egalite, fraternite…

- a concentrated expression of abstract nature of music - free play of sounds that represent just themselves (unlike recitative that grows on drama or plot ground);

- an attempt of moving around sound space following certain principles and rules, this time an integral serialism;

- and finally, a sort of a doll, pretty baby, nice thing, an adventure that makes a life more comfortable although may add some trouble.
